Waste4Soil partners Confagricoltura, Università degli Studi di Parma, LegacoopNazionale, and Amadori have organized the 1st meeting on 18 April in Parma, Italy, that was held at the Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard.
During the event has been presented the Waste4Soil Project.
For the venue of the first meeting, the Italian partners selected the Azienda Agricola Sperimentale Stuard which plays a pivotal role in the Italian Living Lab activities. The latter represents the place where the innovative soil improvers are field-tested on typical crops of the Emilia-Romagna region.
Moreover, the Italian team decided to involve different actors from the agri-food system such as farms, food industries, soil improver producers, policymakers, citizens, and multidisciplinary groups. In this way, partners together with stakeholders came together to co-create and co-implement the Italian Living Lab and evaluate different solutions to the common problem of soil health from different points of view.
