On 16-17 October 2024, 3R-BioPhosphate Ltd. hosted the Month Seventeen Waste4Soil Consortium Meeting at the Biofarm, at Kajaszo, Central Transdanubia, Hungary. The two-day event, organized in a hybrid format, brought together the consortium’s 27 partners and 1 associated partner. The meeting consisted of presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions to review the project’s progress and plan the next months of the project.
Day one opened with the welcome of the coordinator and the 3R BioPhosphate Ltd., where the work package and task leaders presented updates on the achievements of the first of the month seventeen. Participants engaged in thematic discussions focusing on soil health improvements food processing residues and the work of the seven Living Labs, the day concluded with a General Assembly meeting and a social dinner, providing an opportunity for deeper networking and collaboration.
Day two began with the tour of the facilities at the Biofarm and with the “Peer-lead coaching” session, where all partners provided input to help each other and solve challenges that they have experienced within their respective Living Labs. Waste4Soil Consortium Project Meeting and the Hungarian Living Lab visit was a significant step forward in fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and advancing the project’s goals of boosting soil health and sustainability.
