LAB

University of Applied Sciences (Finland)

LAB University of Applied Sciences is an innovation university for the working life, with 3 campuses, 500 teachers and RDI experts, and over 8800 students. Key competences include circular economy and sustainable material cycles. 

 

Main Role: LAB coordinates the assessment of existing best practices, the Finnish Living Lab, and analyses of the special needs for local food systems addressed in LL. LAB is also participating in assessment of legal framework, organizing workshops on social acceptance, and is developing optimized pyrolysis process in combination with anaerobic digestion.
