The University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical faculty is Slovenia’s leading educational and research institution in the field of natural resources (soil, physical space, flora, fauna and water). The scientific and research work of the faculty combines basic, applied and developmental research and enables rapid transfer of research results into practise.
Main Role:
They main activity within the project are the establishment of the Slovenian Living Lab in collaboration with KOTO, ZRS and 3R. The Slovenian Association for Conservation Agriculture (SACA) with its farmers and advisors will be involved as a subcontractor. In WP4 we will investigate the use of microalgae for nutrient recovery from digestate. They will conduct pot and field experiments in the Slovenian Living Lab to test algae SI and biostimulants.
