On 23 September 2024 our partner, 3R-BioPhosphate Ltd organized a Committee Board Workshop, in Kajaszo Biofarm Upcycling Center, Hungary. The workshop consisted of the participation of farmers, the food industry, producers of soil improvers, citizens' organizations, and the Policymakers.
The Policymakers participated by issuing and following up Authority permits: REACH+ MS Authority permit, which is the mandatory precondition to executing the “Living Labs demonstration for new Soil Improvers” tests in real-life conditions to showcase good practices with “show me” and “ready for practice” practical demonstrative effects.
The 3R-specific biochar route was presented and discussed with optimizations of dry pyrolysis and COMPO-CHAR. Plans defined for TRL9 scale-up, first full industrial replication, and business model aiming at global market expansion.
