On April 4th, our partner KOTO had the pleasure of hosting students from the Biotechnical Faculty – Agriculture & Zootechnics program for an insightful field visit dedicated to environmental protection in agriculture.
Guided by Dr. Lea Lavrič, Head of Development & Project Office, and Danilo Lenart, Technologist at KOTO, the students were introduced to practical approaches to sustainable agriculture and waste management. The visit offered an opportunity to see firsthand how environmental practices are implemented in real-world agricultural settings, sparking curiosity and lively discussions among participants.
This visit is a great example of how Waste4Soil fosters collaboration between education and practice. By connecting future agricultural professionals with innovative industry practices, we contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future for our soils and environment.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the students for their enthusiasm, insightful inquiries, and willingness to engage in collaborative dialogue.”
