Workshop on Advancing Soil Health Through European Collaboration and Living Labs

On 13 May 2026, our partner CluBE – Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia successfully hosted the workshop “Soil Health and Environmental Protection – Innovative Solutions and Living Labs” in Kozani, Greece, as part of the Waste4Soil Project and as a mirror event of Agrotica Expo 2026.

The event brought together key European initiatives working towards healthier and more sustainable soils, highlighting the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange across projects, disciplines, and regions.

During the workshop, several projects presented their activities and innovative approaches, including iCOSHELLs – Innovative Co-Creation Soil Health Living Labs, URSOILL, MarginUp! EU, and Waste4Soil. These contributions showcased the diversity and strength of ongoing efforts to improve soil health across Europe.

The workshop provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions related to soil health, current environmental challenges, and the role of Living Labs in promoting sustainable land management approaches.

A warm thank you is extended to all participants, speakers, and partners for their valuable contributions. The event once again demonstrated the importance of joint action and cross-project collaboration for the protection and restoration of soils across Europe.
