On 4 November 2025, our partner Legacoop Agroalimentare participated in Ecomondo, held in Rimini, Italy, where they presented the Waste4Soil Project.
During the event, Enrico Pietrantonio provided an overview of the Waste4Soil project. At the same time, Francesca Accardo presented the latest developments from the Emilia-Romagna Living Lab, highlighting the innovative approaches used to formulate new soil improvers and move towards more sustainable soil management practices.
Ecomondo, recognized as the international benchmark for ecological transition and the circular economy, hosted its 28th edition with a program full of innovations, visionary projects, and opportunities for companies, start-ups, researchers, and policymakers.
Waste4Soil’s participation underscored the project’s commitment to turning biowaste into high-value soil improvers, fostering a circular bioeconomy, and contributing to a more resilient and sustainable agricultural system in Europe.
This event provided a platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and showcase the potential of circular solutions for soil regeneration, thereby reinforcing Waste4Soil’s role in promoting sustainable practices across the agri-food sector.
