The Slovenian Living Lab will focus on two types of food processing residues: Olive oil residues and mixed food processing residues (which will be collected and treated together).
During the workshop, the main objectives of the project, the work plan and the partners who will be involved in the Living Lab Slovenia - Istria were presented. The stakeholders, divided into five groups, identified the main objectives of the Living Lab and the ways to achieve them. They pointed out that they want environmentally friendly, affordable and easy-to-use soil improvers. They emphasised the importance of bringing researchers and farmers together and networking as much as possible in practise. They showed interest in attending specialised courses on soil (micro)biology and soil health. The already lively discussion was stimulated by questions on the Mentimeter (interactive presentation software), including the question "What do you imagine a living lab to be", where the answer "collaboration" stood out. As part of the event, we also appointed a committee board of stakeholders for the living lab.Mentimeter (interactive presentation software), including the question "What do you imagine a living lab to be", where the answer "collaboration" stood out.
