On 5 February 2026, Legacoop Nazionale and the University of Parma represented the Waste4Soil Project at FRUIT LOGISTICA, one of the leading international trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable sector.
During the event, the project’s achievements were presented to a wide audience of companies and stakeholders, facilitating discussions on sustainable practices and circular approaches in the agri-food value chain. The exchanges emphasized the importance of integrating research with industry needs to advance sustainable innovation in agriculture.
The fair brought together several key fruit and vegetable companies representing approximately 60% of Italy’s national production and processing sector, providing a significant opportunity to strengthen collaboration between research institutions and industry actors.
The discussions highlighted the growing interest in:
