On 13 April 2026, our partner CSIC participated in a collaborative meeting held in Murcia, Spain, together with colleagues from CNR (Italy)
The meeting, titled “CEBAS-CSIC–IRET-CNR project on the valorization of beer waste for improving soil health and fertility”, provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and further strengthen synergies between both institutions.
During the session, Felipe Bastida (CSIC) presented the Waste4Soil project, highlighting its main objectives and its contribution to advancing soil health and promoting sustainable resource use.
This exchange reinforces the importance of cross-border collaboration in developing innovative solutions for soil sustainability and in supporting the transition towards more circular and resilient agricultural systems.
