On 8 May 2025, our partner IRTA participated in the in-person workshop titled “Agricultural Innovation Conference for the Health of the Soil – Solutions sostenible for a productive future”, organised by the Catalan Living Lab within the framework of the European DELISOIL project. The event took place in VIC (Barcelona, Spain) and brought together key actors in the field of sustainable agriculture.
Victor Riau Arenas, representing IRTA, presented the Waste4Soil project and highlighted the work carried out by the Catalan Living Lab, one of the regional Living Labs actively involved in promoting sustainable soil management practices.
The workshop served as a dynamic platform for sharing the progress and objectives of ongoing projects. It successfully gathered producers, researchers, and agricultural professionals to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and define concrete actions aimed at improving soil health.
This event reaffirmed the importance of collaborative innovation in building resilient agricultural systems for a productive and sustainable future.
