On 14 November 2025, our partners, University of Parma (UNIPR) and GESCO (Amadori) presented their work during the online webinar named: “BIOFERTILIZZANTI: TREND DEL MERCATO E SOLUZIONI DELL’ECONOMIA CIRCOLARE”.
During the event, Francesca Accardo (University of Parma ) presented the Waste4Soil project, highlighting the team’s ongoing efforts to transform through enzymatic hydrolysis the organic waste into valuable resources for agriculture.
Massimo Fusai (GESCO/Amadori) presented “from waste to resource: un modello di economia circolare” highlighting the challenging and opportunities related to the valorisation of the food wastes by focusing on the activities carried out in the frame of the Waste4Soil project.
During the event, Lorenzo Marini (Azienda Agraria Sperimentale Stuard) also illustrated the methodologies used by the Emilia-Romagna LL for the on-field trials.
The webinar, organized by CLUST-ER AGRIFOOD DELL’EMILIA-ROMAGNA, brought together experts to discuss research, market trends, and innovative solutions in the biofertilizer sector.
Waste4Soil continues to demonstrate how research and innovation can turn waste into resources, contributing to healthier soils and more sustainable agricultural practices.
